Lose ten lbs.
Feels bad man
i purposely cook the shit out of my chicken just for this reason
Happened to my mom a few years back. It was scary seeing her lose all her mobility in a matter of weeks. Thank god shes ok now though
In on this crew now.
Just had something similar Sunday morning from 3am to 12 noon.
Still not sure what it was.
did this once with expired chicken and the same shit happened. Couldn't keep food down for days.
same reason i hate chicken i always wind up drying it out because im so worried about salmonella or some other crazy shit
my chicken is basically swimming in hot sauce
gotta learn the settings of your oven. I take my chicken tits, cut them in half, and cook for 32 mins exactly. They are cooked enough to eat out of the oven and not over cooked so they dry out in the microwave.
I bake my tits in the oven on high for about 35 mins exactly. Turn once @ 15 mins. When cutting them up, I check for any pink color. Juices should run clear.
Cut up my portions, eat what I can, put the rest in a sealed container in the fridge. Never had a problem?
The chicken breasts that got you sick, were they frozen? Or like the 'chilled' foster farms style that you find in the deli section of the supermarket?
there will be a House episode on this soon, if there hasn't already been
when I cook chicken, I take it off the heat BARELY undercooked. the heat within it finishes the cooking and makes it very tender
Thawed breasts, 5 minutes on the Foreman grill at 375*. Never undercooked and usually still tender and juicy.
generic cooking instructions are useless because the thickness with which people slice their chicken varies
well not really 100% useless but you get my drift
I don't slice anything, thaw, rinse over water, add seasoning, throw into oven. Boneless tits seem to cook faster than ones with bone-in. I usually just pick up the cheaper pack at the time, chicken breasts are chicken breasts.
i always grill mine and my grill sucks so i gotta slice em up. no top rack to put them on and let a full breast cook
20 min minimum in the toaster oven.
If in doubt, slice into the thickest part and take a look. If it looks pink at all, keep cooking
You guys are hilarious. Get a fucking digital thermometer and temp the thickest part of the breast. When the internal temp reaches 160 pull them out. Done. Shouldn't take more than 15-18 minutes at 425 degrees. Think they will get dry?? Add about 1/4 cup of water to what ever you cook it in and cover them tightly with foil.
if in doubt, throw in microwave
this is why my roommate hates my dry chicken
fuck this must have been what happened to me weeks ago...
im a grill expert though..
PROTIP- buy thin filet's. they cook faster and you can eat 20 of them.
