It's a 250gb WD Caviar 7200rpm w/2mb cache that was refurbished. I got it sometime last week and it was a clicker out of the box (I'm using this in FW400 enclosure to replace my 120gb). Immediatly told Woot about it and they sent me a replacement w/return label that I just got today.

So far it works fine, and quitely, as I copy my music over first (50gb ~30min). When I first formatted it Disk Utility showed 13 partitions of various sizes (any idea what that is about?) and no errors, so good so far.

I'm gonna have to use a dual-drive ribbon to copy from the drive I'm replacing and keep the other around as a backup.

So far it's not bad for $50.
