My wrists get destroyed by upright rows more than any other body part too.
upright rows with the straight bar and cambered bar do nothing t omy wrists. You are weakminded
I seem to have less problems when I do cable upright rows for some reason
Try with dumbbells?
Try varying your hand placement a bit..farther in or farther out, see if it makes a difference.
Fuck upright rows anyway
try doing them with 3 fingers on each side, and concentrate pointing elbows up. i let it hang on my finger tips than gripping the bar
I've altered my grip on several occasions, what works for me one day doesn't another.
Any recommendations for a better exercise from anyone?
what are you trying to hit? rear delts? traps? There are a plethora of exercises you can do.
Sorry bro, i mistook upright rows for bent over rows. I did upright rows a few years ago and fuxed up my wrists, never did them again.

Pull as close to my chin as possible, pulling to the nipple doesn't seem to do it for me...oh your succulent nipples.
I've never had a problem with them. Use your fingers as hooks instead of grabbing it with your whole hand.
Cause it's the worst exercise for shoulder health
i do em with a rope on a cable machine, feels way better for my wrists.

Well if not upright rows, what should I do? They seem to be the only exercise I've done where I've actually felt it in my lateral delts.
