Just finally switched to them. $86 to start and $46 a month for minimal on a 99 Galant GTZ. yay.
everything i do is with USAA
Right on. I hope to build my standing to be like that eventually like so many of my past supervisors.
How are their investments doing?
i have a corner stone ira or something (off the top of my head) It didnt have much in it, but it hasnt lost anything, and my money market acct. still makes intrest.
+1 on USAA>*
should have gotten a better car though.
usaa is cool.. lol they dont lend alot of money to lower ranking people which is cool.. prob why most investments are doing well.
I don't know why I waited so long to switch to their auto insurance.
$60 difference each month, fuck, I'm a retard.
All in with USAA crew +1
Closing my account with Wells Fargo next week. Everything will be with USAA. Well, my drill pay will still go to Service Credit Union.
We currently have almost everything with USAA. However, we switch our car insurance over to Geico and will be saving $100 more a month.
Only thing I don't like is that there is no actual building I can go to for banking. But no fees for cash withdrawals FTW.
fuck that. I went from a 2002 Saab 9-5 to this car. This car was 3k in 2007 and worth every penny. No car payments and cheap insurance is better.
USAA ftw. I hated Wells Fargo.
Thanks. I feel good I finally went with them. I didn't when I was 18 and at my first duty station because it was really expensive... Now 25+married=win(insurance only, heh)
+1 to USAA.
wtf do you need to go to a building for?? Have a hard check that you need to deposit, scan it and deposit w/ [email protected] Of course there is a physical bank in Texas where you can send your checks free of charge using the provided deposit envelopes they use through UPS.
You will get charged fees for cash withdrawals at any ATM, but they reimburse you up $14-18/month. I don't think you will be withdrawing more than 7 times a month.
USAA is one of the best benifits of being in the military in my opinion. i have my banking, checking, investments, and a credit card with them and would never go anywhere else
I'm thinking about swithching my checking/savings with two banks and going USAA. I hear nothing but good things about them.
for some reason their auto insurance is still outrageous for me. never had a ticket, good credit (some people say USAA bases off a credit check too), etc. they want almost $100 more a month than geico
I swtich to them for auto insurance.
Progressive was really good.... but $220/mo for wife and I (she likes to hit things).
USAA is $187. We switched. FL FTL too.
Did you tell them that? I had a lower quote for GEICO and they beat it.
