Assuming pristine condition, is $850 a good deal? (comes with 77mm B+W UV filter)
Seems like a decent deal. What's the price for a new one these days?
According to Amazon $1250
17th street and Beach camera are selling this for $1400.
People who insure their gears, did your insurance company accept handwritten receipts for used gears you guys bought via craigslist?
Also is this acceptable to IRS for tax purposes?
Thats a good deal. My friend has been looking for one for a while and the lowest he's found so far is $900
I was happy with my Tamron 17-50 2.8 on my D50, but on D300 not really.
850's not a bad price.
Of new is $1250, then that price seems like a great deal as long as the lens is in good condition.
Picked this up last night, definitely an improvement in resolving power on 12mp cam and focusing in low light situation. Quick focusing too.
