How do you balance the bar while bench pressing?
unless you only have one arm, i dont get it
squeezing it tight and "pulling it apart" helps
you get a spotter and dont try and lift more than you can
put equal weight on both sides?
on your fingertips
how far apart are your hands?
Close to the middle.
Thanks I'ma try.
usually before i bench i bring a level (you know with the little bubbles) with me and i tape it to the bar so i can see it while i'm benching. i think sooner or later i'm going to upgrade to some sort of gps system with an inclinator.
also i make sure i inject the synthol equally in both arms.
practice with just the bar before adding weights
ring finger around the nurl (2 mm band without the grip)
make sure you don't drop your wrists back. Keep them straight out, like you are assaulting gays with your fists.
make a first and the BB should rest on your fingers. most beginners make the mistake of actually GRABBING the bar. you will NOT target the chest this way.
move 'em out and try to make sure that both hands are the same (roughly) distance from the middle of the bar
Well it says here that you're fucked up, you talk like a fag, and your shits all retarded.
Is that idiocricy i sense
It's ok, my first wife was tarded.
She's a pilot now.
A good way to build balance and stabilization is to use dumbells instead of a barbell. I wish I could have started this MUCH sooner, I love DB presses now.
don't forget to alternate
You mean between bar and DB? How often? Every 6 weeks or so?
you have to balance the bar on your neck until you find the sweet spot.
