Not a bad vid to check out.
Old. But good vid. That guy lost his job for that video
damn, thats fucked.
He was a police officer working for a California police department. No real surprises there. The weapons ban in CA is part of the state constitution after all...
Watching now, back in 10 mins
Did he really get fired for that?
That was a really informational video...what the fuck!?
Surprised you guys weren't bashing him for putting his finger ont he trigger when holding the gun up displaying it since there's been a lot of that on here recently.....
I did notice that, but he had it pointed down range and with the way he unloaded everything I'm more than sure he was positive that it was unloaded.
"This gun is fully automatic and is prohibited to purchase by everyone in the United States except by police and law enforcement."
why would he get fired over that?
probably the same reason that the current federal ban bill i has "Law Enforcement Protection Act" in the title.
If LEOs are speaking out against it, that disrupts some of the emotional chords this type of legislation strikes.
Its just like the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act (and yes, it is actually an anacronym), you can speak against it without conjureing overtones of being un-patriotic.
Its the unfortunate truth that American voters respond more to presentation than facts.
Ahh the Liberal Way!
I know I know I thought it was a little off, but it is true that if that gun was manufactured after 1986 purchasing one is prohibited. Plus judging by how the general public reacts to the mainstream media it would be best not to get into the details and the registration and tax and permits, the media and public would just go civilian can still buy fully automatic weapons today, everybody panic.
unofficially probably for stepping out of line with the general opinion of law enforcement in the city, state, country.
officially, probably for using his position as a public servant to endorse what he was saying and possibly for using the police range in said video.
It's pretty bad here, I'm in San Jose. About 80% of people are anti gun
