Is this worth $89?
no, spend a couple more bucks and go up to dicks sporting goods, they got some good deals on some nice benches
get a good bench!
i was just thinking about how one time in AL I was at a gym. racked up the bench, and when i sat it back on the arms, the end where my legs were went up in the air, and i almost flipped over in it.
That include weights?
no, but you'll be pissed if you get a non-olympic size bench in the future
that one sucks. it's not olympic and the posts are too close together.
http://detroit.craigslist.org/spo/369762764.html 300lb weight set $100

and another one from same guy "weep wimp"
both for $45

Craig's List owns. Also, try any secondhand/ sporting goods consignment shops in town. Play it Again Sports is one. They have great deals. Just got a 1500 lb test Barbell for $32.98.
1500lbs, how did you move it?
I think he meant the barbell was tested to be able to hold 1500 lbs
I borrowed some of the 18" forearms from the other thread...
But seriously folks - forklift.
Walmart has a Gold's Gym XRS-20 bench (2 piece) with leg and preacher attachment for about $140ish, seems to be a decent setup . . . I was planning on getting that in a week or two . . .
get a squat rack instead
The second hand shops usually are a better place to look. They know not to waste their time with anything from department stores.
don't settle for less!
