Met girl. Starting hanging out. Found out she's really cool and have a lot in common. Continue hanging out 1 on 1 (drinks, lunch). Not really sure where her head is at. Get fed up and I decide to do this (paraphrased): Me: Hey, just wanted to see if you wanted to go see a movie with me on friday. Her: Oh yeah! I really wanted to go see Couples Retreat. Me: Cool. You know why I'm asking you to the movies, right? Her: ... no? Me: It's because I like you. And I want to get to know you. And I want to take you out. Her: .... Me: You had no idea? I felt I was being pretty obvious. Her: ... I had no idea. But I know now. Me: Yeah, well you know. Do you still want to go to the movies on friday? Her: Yeah! No need to tell me the pauses are not a good thing, I realize that. Was it really a good idea to express the words "I like you." I've never been one to say that, but I think it needed to be said for other reasons that I don't feel like typing. Go.
