I'm a complete lifting n00b..I weight 170 lbs and my goal is reaching 185. So I did the natural n00b thing and picked up some weight gainer. Now my friend who's been lifting for quite sometimes says that even with eating properly and with lifting daily, I will still become fat from it. Mind you, he's never tried weight gainer, he's just speaking purely from the carbs. Will I really just fatten up instead of gain muscle? I have a very fast metabolism and have never been fat my entire life. Am I really gonna have a pot belly by the end of the month?
