really? my favorite was the first one (and third).
To me, 1 is too dark and 3 looks OOF.
your highlights. they has no details.
Do explain. My photography hobby, it are new.
btw, Canon 350d w/ 15-55mm kit lens.

Your running a high f stop to slow down the speed....you need to get a ND (natural density) to keep details in running water and keep a normal f stop and you will still gain details in the running water and highlights won't be blown out
so, lower f-stop and faster shutter speed to get the blur, but not too blurred?
its rough doing waterfall shots without a ND filter. Image quality goes down when you stop down to F22 and higher. But you have to do it sometimes to get a good 1 second to blur the water.
That kit lens looks horrible regardless.
