I'm not a huge poker player, but it seems to me that pocket 2s with the board showing a higher pair isn't such a great bet.
god, you deserved to lose that much. that was terrible play. id have tossed those very quickly.
rofl ok. I didn't know there were so many pros on OT.
odds of his hand coming up like that are something like 0.245%
that's in the ridiculous range. I do well in poker cause I read people well and I'm very good at letting people hang themselves.
it's not often I get trapped, so it figures it would happen to a 0.245% flop
I wanted to hop on the XD bandwagon that's not a huge loss for $2/4 but it was emotionally crushing.
only AA, A8, A3, A2, 88, or 33 could have beat me. I knew he was playing the hand that he flopped, so that only left AA, A8, 88. I didn't believe he had any 8's which only leaves AA.. and I hadn't even considered that possiblity.
I played it fine. 96.3% of the money went in when I thought I had the best hand, and as long as I keep playing like that I'll keep winning.
you lose at poker. online poker is rigged.
