Well, the following is a convo between me and my doc. about my shoulder... Me: So how does it look doc? (no response) M:…So doc how does it look? Dr. Cakone: Bad M: Can’t be that bad can it? Dr.: It’s about one-hundred times worse then I previously thought M: Oh…So that’s pretty bad huh? Dr.: Ya M: Well, at least I’ll get to play lacrosse right? Dr.: Tim, you actually dislocated your shoulder, tore your labrum, and crushed a bunch of fatty tissue that’s used to cushion the joint. Your labrum is also to far from your bone to heal properly, so I will most likely have to go in and attach it to the bone so it will heal the right way. You’re looking at at least four to six months of rehab and that’s if you’re lucky, chances are it’s going to be more like five to seven. Then again that also a long time away and if we have to we will have to sit down and find out which you find more important. M: Oh….that sucks. Dr.: Ya… I got to go in for surgery this wed. anyone got any info on how to make rehab go as fast as possible?
