the original owner paid AUD115,000 for it back in july 2008

i bought it for around the same price as a 2003 BMW M3

so you can probably use that as a guide rather than me giving you an exact figure which will be irrelevant to you since US and AUS prices are completely different

i wanted a diesel. and im quite pleased with it. fuel prices here are crazy as well. its currently $1.40 for a liter of fuel which equates to $5.30 for a gallon of the standard unleaded. premium is even more than that

I bet that thing is a slug

its got alot of low down torque (340Nm at 1700rpm) so it gets off the line fine. i find it faster than my E46 320Ci and E46 323i

just checked the specs. the 520d is faster to 60mph than the 320ci and 323i

the 520d has a sports pack option which includes the 18s. my one had the professional package only.

i've driven one with the 18s. i cant tell the difference at all. only thing is, its a much rougher ride on the 18s since the tyres are thinner and they're run flats
