Alright, i wrestle in college, and i'm trying to cut weight to the next weight class (i need to lose 30 lbs), while, hopefully, keeping the majority of my muscle mass. To throw a wrench in this process i suffered a broken ankle and torn cartilage in my knee last season, so biking is the only form of cardio i'm permitted. I've been on this for about 3 months, i've lost 2 lbs. I'm at a total loss as to why i'm not dropping weight like a rock its not as if i dont have the fat to lose. I'm Taking a multi vitemin, calcium, and glucosamine/chrondroiten Breakfast - 1 Protein Shake w/ Water Plus - 1 egg + 1/4 cup Egg Beaters or - 1 cup of cereal (Kashi Go Lean usually) + 2/3 cup of Skim Milk Lunch - 1 Fat Free Cranberry Muffin - Protein Shake w/ Water Dinner - 3 Pieces Chicken Tenderloin (8 oz roughly) - Couple pieces of fruit (Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Honeydew... etc.) After Lifting - Protein Shake w/ Water I try to bike a minimum of 4 times a week, i usually do a lot more, such as last week i did it 10 times. I usually do an 7.5-10 mile circuit depending on the route i go, i rarely go slower than 1 hour. I lift 4x a week Monday / Wednesday – Chest and Back - Bench Press - Normal - Close - Reverse - Incline Bench - Dumbell Bench - Pullovers - Flys - Bent over Rows - Lat pulldown (all use freeweights except this one) - Pushups - Bicep Curls Tuesday / Thursday – Arms / Shoulders / Neck - Lateral Raises - Front Raises - Shoulder Press - Skull Crushers - Triceps Pulldown (Machine) - Wrist Curls - Shrugs - Chin Raises - Pushups - Calf Raises What can i do to spark some weight loss?
