I know I need some serious help with my nutrition area and working out routine. I've spent a little research and have decided I need to buy some Whew Protein. I've been working out for about 6 months and have noticed a difference in my arms and a little in my chest. But the past 3 months I don't feel that my body has changed at all. After reading I KNOW my body is in starvation mode. Usually, I will have an apple for breakfast, nothing for lunch and big dinner. If I do get anything for lunch it is usually granola bars, or crackers. My dinner often contains pasta's or lots of cheese (Mexican). I drink mostly water and some times will have apple juice or something along those lines. I've been trying to bulk up my upper body because I'm so small (155lbs). So far the last 6 months it's basically been arms and chest. I started to move on last week and being a routine. Monday-Legs, Tues-Chest, Wed-Arms, Thur-Rball, Fri-shoulders/back. What should I do to get my body out of starvation mode? What types of foods should I be eating? What types of snacks are good?
