what or where to get a d80 battery. Are there any third party batteries that work well with the d80? i used a third party batt with my d50 and didnt have any problems. but ive been seeing mixed comments with the d80 and third party battery. im also looking to get a mb-d80 so it would have to work with it..

Sterlingteks are amazing, better than OEM but I'm not totally sure what one to get for the D90 which I think is the same as the D80. I have 2 Sterlingteks for the D50 and they were great.

I've always used the EN-EL3e batteries that came w/ all 3 of my cameras and never had issues. :duno:

another vote for sterlingtek. Great batteries and you can usually get 2 for the price of 1 Nikon battery. Ive used sterlingtek for awhile in both my dslr and old sony cam

hella bro*cal
I ordered two EN-EL3e's, and I've always used OEM Nikon. Never a problem, batteries in my D100 still hold a full charge after seven years

anyone use sterlingtek batteries on a mb-d80 grip or just with a d80. the cam bodies mentioned are older bodies i dont know if they have the same "3" terminal as the d80 batt does

I bought two third party batteries off eBay. One is in the camera, one is in the bag and one is at home. I rotate all three and I haven't noticed that the OEM is better than the other two.

ok im going to try some sterlingteks. but i noticed that it says it has a higher mAH comapred to genuine nikons. is it ok to use these two in camera grip? or is it better to have matching batteries in a grip
