my coach usually pair people up for rolling, so avoiding stinky people is not an option.
i don't really care. My shit is clean. if i get staph i get staph. Unless it's like a white belt that just started, then i advise them to wash their stuff after every training.
I tell them their gi smells like shit and they should wash it
usually that's all it takes.
im the asshole in class that tells people they smell, are greasy, are gay for wearing socks.
im also known to tell people "this is our song, we gonna fuck tonight."
oh yeah and sometimes u need to tell fuckers to trim their nails as well.
and tell them they must have lost their god damn mind if theyre wearing jewelry or piercings on the mat.
why do people wear socks on the mat?
i did and he got butthurt.
oh yeah, he's a 3 stripe white belt
Its been said many times by the instructor that you're absolutely in no way to ever wear your gi for more than one training session. Ive never had this problem, but I would probably tell them to wash it.
I wash mine every time, maybe every once in a while I'll got 2 times before I wash it but I always hang it up and make sure it doesn't stink.
One dude we used to roll with would roll his gi up like a burrito and tie his belt around it right after class while it was still wet. He always smelled like shit. Even after telling him he kept doing it. I'm glad hes gone.
