1. Do you play any games at the moment?

I'll answer for mine:
1. Yes, mostly Destiny, bit of WoW on occasions, and trying to clear a few of the single player games i still have on my list to complete.
2. PC fo shaw, but occasionally game on consoles.
3. None at the moment, will get the Xbox Series X soon, and will buy the PS5 afterwards.
4. Nopp, i am happy to get them, and at my own leisure since i plan to first take advantage of my soon-to-expire Xbox Ultimate Game Pass.
5. Most of the games i'm interested in at the moment are PS-exclusives, like Spiderman, Last Of Us 1&2, Ghost of Tsushima etc. I'll be looking to get those once i get my hands on the PS5, a lot of catching up to do.
6. I play mostly RPG games, but also plenty of adventure, as well as some looter/shooter (see Destiny above)
7. Yes, but happy not to share

Bonus answer. I am opening a brewery and the theme is going to be "A place your kids want to hang out" so I am on the lookout for games that can be played and enjoyed by grownups and kids alike. Have a PS4 but don't really use it to game anymore, it's more just what we use to access Hulu, Netflix, etc.

Also a Nintendo Switch that's mostly my wife's.

There's really no reason for me to want one, would be more interested in some kind of standalone streaming thing like an Amazon fire or something like that if you were set on getting me some kind of gadget.

Not really, I dont keep up with game releases usually.

As the games I listed above suggest, I like 4X and grand strategy type games. As far as switch goes my wife likes Mario/Donkey Kong games and dancing games (I think I put a couple on the Amazon wishlist).

I have Steam yeah--if you wanna go that route Santa just have one of the helper mods ask because I don't want to just post it. Also have an Epic Games account too.

1. Diablo 3 on the pc. trying to learn how to play call of duty.. currently spend most of time running in to stuff.

What about getting something like a Swich Lite? Friend of mine with 2 recent kids and a 24-hour on-call job founds the portability and ease of use with great fun games helps him a lot. You migh find he same.
