heh, perhaps I should rephrase..what I'm asking is, which is worse for a person trying to gain muscle mass?

Hmm..ok thanks. Good to know. I figured it would be alcohol since it fucks you up physically a lot more than weed..

I've definately cut back ( A LOT ) but unless it's killing me I'm not going to stop having fun.
Even if that means it sets my physical goals back
if you "have" to do one or the other, then smoke pot... However, having a couple beers on a friday night like Pur will not really have any adverse affects. Just make sure you account for the cals in them if you are counting cals. If you have a couple beers or drinks once a week you are fine.
If you are one of those losers that cannot seem to get through the week without getting shit faced, or cannot go out and have a good time unless they are drunk, or see the weekend as being thurs-sunday and game time for getting drunk then you have a big problem and should give up on life.
I can't believe you are actually reccommending pot.

Binge drinking will not help things, but having a few drinks isn't really a big deal provided you're not on an extreme diet or anything.

Notice how I said "If you HAVE to do one or the other then smoking pot is better than drinking". And this is backed up by a plethora of research and evidence as well as the opinions of many other members here.
I do not condone the actions of getting drunk OR smoking pot. I was just simply stating that if he had to do one of the other, then smoking the pot would have less adverse affects.
And please do not ignorantly label me as a pothead. You have no idea whether or not a smoke, and making such an assumption just makes you look like a fucking idiot.

I personally know several of my past friends that got addicted to pot and have since become the biggest losers I know. Not wanting to do anything but work their shitty jobs at Applebee's. This gave me my opinion of marijuana.
