I don't want to damage it, but it's got fingerprints and it's annoying me. Any suggestions?
windex. works for me
Same go for Powerbooks? I don't know if this is just normal glass or not, and I don't want to take any chance of screwing it up.
Thats good to know but... what's best to use then?
i just use a water dampened, lint free cloth. works perfect.
i have a iklear microfiber and a big bottle of their spray for my imac.
windex is so harsh. it really shouldnt be used on anything but glass, just fucking glass.
are you looking to clean only dust off or lite finger prints? i use one of those soft cloths that people use to clean eyeglasses
I'm real careful not to get fingerprints on it, but having been sick for a week, the occasional cough spray hit it. But ya, that kind of thing and fingerprints and stuff.
I guess I could just use the little cloth that came with my psp.
thats what i was going to say
another for iKlear
Used some of this the other day: http://www.monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=2350
Sticks to the screen so you don't have to worry about it dripping into your laptop case/keyboard
iKlear is fantastic
iklear or microfiber cloth and water. Don't use stuff like windex, and definatly don't use paper towels, both will fuck up the screens finish, and leave you with a scratched surface.
Windex will eat away at the finish of any LCD (I think it's the amonia that does this - not sure). NEVER EVER EVER use windex on an LCD screen!
I'm a big fan of these, I have one for my 12" PB.
