Might be buying a 98 GT this weekend, don't want to keep it stock.
supercharger and nitrous
I plan on doing tires, chip, I/H/E......what else?
a new car
Not really interested in doing FI.......might want to give nitrous a shot down the road
you've got to be blown
you could swap an L engine in
Enough with the elitism, I see them running 11s all the time at the track.....I wont be going there for a while, so I don't have a chance to talk to them and am looking for some info.
Taller rear end gears
500hp will get you there.
intake and exhaust mods
a 98 gt, you install every bolt on part and spray it and the slug will only go high 13's
a ferrari pushing from behind
sell it and buy a real mustang....foxbody or 2005 model
Don't they go low 14s stock? I was told that BPUs should at least get me into high 12s, low 13s.
You don't have much of a choice, kid. Nitrous, Crate Motor (MUCH bigger), Supercharger or Turbocharger.
Its what I expected.
'86-93 are VERY capable of doing 11s with some mods.
Any car is VERY capable of doing 11s with some mods.
I don't have it yet......just considering buying it. Real good deal, 30K miles, leather, 5-speed.
how else are you going to move the air/fuel fast enough to create more power?
All you can do bolt-on wise is free up some hp by clearing up restrictions, but until you force more air/fuel into the engine, you won't get the big power numbers needed.
