Just a few pics from last night's event where I did my first second shooting for another photog and my second wedding ever. Your critique and comments are welcomed, especially on the post processing. I tried to keep the post work simple for the most part.

Does their darker skin tone mess with the light meter at all when they fill most of the frame?

I noticed that happens a lot when I shoot black cars and I was always curious if that happens with black people too.

Oh, and if those pictures were for me, I'd be very happy I hired you.

I do wish that #14 would be all in focus. Seems like the dof is too shallow.

Yes it can if you meter directly off their skin. I tend to ignore the camera meter anyway when shooting with strobes.

I should have taken the time to use my tripod on that shot. That was shot around f/9 iirc. I should have pushed it to f/16

Nice shots mate.

Noise would be my only comment as well. Especially on shots like the rings, no reason for jacked ISO on something like that.

These shots actually have a cool style to them...I can't really explain why but it seems like they are stills taken from a movie...very nice framing

i thought the exact same thing when I saw number 3. Generic black romantic comedy starring a famous rapper. I think the noise has something to do with it.

And you can tell you were the second shooter because they weren't looking at your camera. I absolutely hated that when I was a second shooter. Did it bother you at all?
