I have a freiberg's infraction (right foot) and I've been advised by my doctor to stay off my foot as much as possible. Is there anything I can do to maintain my weight/lose weight without having to "diet"? I've heard some suggestions like swimming and I've done that for a few weeks and got sick of it (brittle nails, showering after, etc). It's been approx 8 weeks since diagnosis. I've tried running but that hurt like hell.
