I was looking into SFAS, and it says "After successful completion of SFAS, officers who have not already attended their Advanced Course will attend either the Infantry or Armor Career Captain's Course". Does this mean you have to been an Infantry Officer?

Also, would it go Basic --> OCS --> SFAS --> SFQS?

Are you even commissioned yet? If not, then carry on. You don't even know what you'll be branched yet, havent even gone to your basic course, and im sure are just trying to gameplan your way to a branch(SF)that is at least 4 years away.
It doesn't matter what branch you are. If you havent done your CCC yet, they'll send you to ft benning for it.

I know nothing about the guys enlisting into 18X - but I'm pretty sure they're not SF qualified...just glorified grunts assisting teams. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

dude, if your planning on enlisting in the 18x program, why are you trying to ask questions related to the captains career course.
If you make it through all the training, then yea, you will be SF. If you don't, youll probably end up in the 82nd, 173rd, or in ft richardson, AK as an 11Boot.
