I have a poster that I want framed and matted. I don't think you can just slap a poster in a frame though because you will see waves in it. Do you need to put it on a dryboard or something so it will be flat? Has anyone done this before?

Also, are there any cheap good places to buy matts or prematted frames or all colors?

Michaels or a frame store will dry mount it for you. Its pretty much adhering the poster to an illustration board by putting "wax paper" (for lack of a better term) between the 2 and heating it up. The cheaper way would be to then get a frame on sale at said place when they go on sale, or get it custom framed.

Michaels, AC Moore, and the like have sales on frames almost every week, or else they usually have a 40 or 50% off one item coupon in the Sunday papers.

Thanks for the tips! Do you know if they can cut me a matt as well? I already bought a frame at target for cheap. Just need it dry mounted and matted.
