nutrition + consistency
Nutrition and Consistency, I gained the most when I was eating right, and I still missed some of my workouts. If only I hadn't missed any
supplements should only be used when you are already in the gym working hard and eating right. The supplements are there to give you edge when you are already doing what you're supposed to be doing
Nutrition, consistency, and lifting heavy ass weights. You don't see too many 20 reppers gaining alot of muscle.
so if one eats well and trains once or twice every 20 days they will still grow?
so pepsi isnt key?
i think the college frat boy mentality is very much the reason, and what i mean by that is guys think that if they lift during the week and then drink to excess, eat like shit, etc on the weekends that they are still going to get huge.
it is synergistic in combination with the pop tarts but they're the critical factor
thanks for clearing that up
I'm not a frat boy, but I drink on the weekends and have a cheat meal on the weekends as well. I lost 130 pounds, then put on 25 on top of the 130 I lost being dedicated in the weight room. So, yes, if you work hard, you can still achieve goals.
Finally figuring out where I am going wrong.
Nutrition and dedication.
No idiot stick...............this thread asks whats the most frequent thing that seperates people who progress and people who dont. I Always see people consistently busting their asses in the gym, only to go home and eat a twinkie post-workout, then maybe a few hours later a cookie. THATS what I find to be the common thing that people dont get.
