grease is mine and then im into all of the action movies....
this isn't the main forum, "you gay" isn't exactly a quality post lol.
it is a pretty silly thread but you can just skip it instead of "you gay"
favorite movie, i can't say just 1 so my top few:
pool hall junkies
V for vendetta
Godfather 1 and 2
but of course there are a hundred more that rank right up there depending on my mood
If had to pick only one I'd go for Yojimbo
It's funny, clever and has some kick ass sword fights.
right now it'd hafta be - save the green planet
Of all time? Can't say. Can't pick a favourite either, but of what i've watched recently Mr Brooks, No Country, Snatch (dog scene is the funniest i've ever watched) and Kingdom of Heaven.
That's almost impossible for me to list but..
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the ring
Don't have my most favorite but some good ones...
By this pitiful list, I'm thinking you're a 20-22 year old white male.
elitist alert, elitest alert.
It's true. Trained by the best.
A lot of Snatch fans... watch its predecessor Locked Stocked and Two Smoking Barrels... and if you like that style, Smoking Aces and Layer Cake are good.
My favorites of late would be Sin City or 300... blood sex and violence ftw.
Please, everyone knows that anyone who knows anything about movies prefers metacritic to that swill.
Shaun of the dead
and starwars. . .
Memento. Christopher Nolan = Genius.
please, please, please if you liked the V for Vendetta movie, read the graphic novel. If you liked the movie (it was horrible imo) the comic might change your life. Incredible stuff
Anyway, here are some of mine:
Donnie Darko (Had me completely hooked at the very start)
Shawshank Redemption (never gets old, redemption in teh rain ftw)
Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (incredible capers, They're almost one movie to me because of the similarities but both are incredible)
No Country for Old Men (Stayed under my skin, I had dreams about it days later)
The Third Man (I LOVE this movie, much better than Citizen Kane... is that so wrong? Some of the most brilliant use of cinematography and music in film, not to mention the great performances)
12 Angry Men (simple, effective film making... The discussions they have bring out each character's personality and makes it very real)
Those are just a few, I have a lot of favorites
o and Mr. Smith goes to Washington
