me: some older nike jogging sneaks
new balance joggers, had em for about 8 years hahaha
Heavy lifts (squats, deads, olympic lifts) in socks.
Everything else in the cheapest pair of Nike cross trainers I could find in France (which ended up being not that cheap).
barefeet for most of my lower body exercises. sambas for when i wear shoes.
but i've had 'em for like 4 years, so it may be time to toss 'em
socks only as much as possible
oly shoes or sambas
nike basketball shoes my gf got me. its comfortable and i wear it to keep her happy
I still need to give this a try. The shoes I currently wear squish down in the heel with even moderate weight.
I'm back and forth depending on what I'm training. Usually I'll wear my puma's (as seen in the vid) or chucks. Sometimes I'll wear my blue saucony running shoes
x2, or socks.
Oly shoes and Flat soled Adidas
But really, these really comfortable Asics
I did see a guy at the gym in Crocs yesterday though, lol
wish I could go barefoot
Can someone explain the though process behind this? Other than seeing Arnold doing it, what's the benefit? I'd deadlifted in socks and it hurts my arches...
Most corp gyms have a no opentoe policy. Atleast in canada they do.
have to wear proper footwear
I feel like I get a stronger push off of the ground/more stable. Could be in my head though. and one could argue its as nature intended.
it is against golds policy. i befriended the entire staff so i could get away with shit like this without being hassled.
