i'm sure a lot of people do it starting off when they're overweight, but i'm referring to people that are coming off a bulking cycle. do you have a preset weight that you want to reach before you start cutting? go by appearance alone? last night i was playing tennis and i was getting ready to receive a serve and as i jumped up i felt my love handles bounce . that's what made me decide it was time to start cutting. started bulking about 2 months ago and went from 180 to 210 or so (212.5 on the scale before bed last night, but i'm sure i was somewhere around 207 this morning). i figure i'll cut for a couple months and then start bulking again. i didn't go about bulking the right way this time around. when i first started bulking i ate everything in sight. the problem was that most of the calories were from dogshit like cookies and poptarts. i still ate a lot of chicken, but i didn't get enough calories from actual food. i also didn't take into account the fact that i used to be fat and it wouldn't take much for me to gain weight. next time i'll up my calories by a little bit at a time and try to eat cleaner than i did this time around. i'm not saying i'm going to clean bulk, but i'm going to try to get most of my calories from real food sources, even if it's mcdonalds double cheesburgers Cliffs: do you have a preset weight that you want to reach before you start cutting? go by appearance alone? when do you decide is the right time to cut?
