DF is fun... but, honestly, I don't see many "worth" (whatever that means) playing right now.
There's a huge rut.
The closest we've come to having innovation is going back to old-school mechanics and adding 3d / updated graphics, which is pretty questionable as to whether that is even innovation at all.
classic eq server =X
if you want those free mmos: http://www.gamengame.com
The Chronicles of Spellborn is free until you reach level 7. Very nice art design in that game. It's pretty much the same thing as WoW, but with a different combat interface/style.
Limited to new MMO's?
What style do you like?
Which have you already tried?
I started playing Runes of Magic recently. It is by far the best free MMO Ive ever seen. The dual class system is definitely cool.
and @ WoW what kind of pathetic slob still plays that piece of shit.
like 4 million pathetic slobs or whatever their sales numbers are
10 million or so
You can come play Aion with me...
I've only ever played 2 MMORPG's but I would certainly recommend Tibia, a nintendo looking 2d game that actually has more depth than many of the modern games I have found. In short, I think what made this game great was the training system. You can freely choose how hard to train your melee/distance fighting/shielding skills that, and this is the best part, are independent from your level.
The only other mmo I've played is Lineage 2, and that game is possibly the largest grindfest with only endgame, max level, PVP in mind.
Any recommendations for a free MMORPG with something similar to tibia's training/skill system?
waiting for this
Everquest 2 pvp. 80 troubador.
You do realize the actual game will be nothing like that right?
Nope, nobody knows that.
