for copying single layer DVDs i just use DVD Decrypter. It is simple and works perfect. I write to ISO and then burn.
For copying dual layer DVDs onto one DVDR I use CloneDVD. If you are copying protected DVD's you'll need to use AnyDVD with CloneDVD.

I use Recordnow DX to burn my data DVD's.

To copy DVD movies, I use DVD Decrypter to copy the DVD to my hard drive and Pinnacle Instant Copy to compress it and burn to a DVD-R

These two little programs beat any other DVD burning/copying software out there. I've burned about 50 DVD's this way since I got my burner and never had a problem with any of them.

    HTH.

Fry's has had it for free (after rebate) for a few months now, on and off (seems to be every second week or so)
