I'm tired of my nikon, it has served me well but I want something more.
Do it, the 5D is the new 50 1.8II
How much cash are you willing to spend?
D3 or D300
depends, I got more money then jcoleman to spend on stuff just no sense really. I got into it as a hobby but I'm just looking for a better camera. and yeah canon I wa styping fast.
Why not a D300?
what lenses do you have. cause if u have decent glass, i cant see why you wouldnt go with the D300. that thing is amazing.
here is my forsale thread its got some pics I took and the lenses I have
how much you want for that Tamron?
Just curious - why switch to canon if you already own a bunch of Nikon stuff?
just not feeling the nikon and I want something with a higher mp and that isn't so old. I need to get new glass too cause some of the stuff I been doing is in very low light like at the converts and I want bright crisp and clean photos. I hate having to mess with the iso and get a awesome pic thats not blurred but its grainy as fuck.
selling as a kit. you probably know more boards then I do and could part it out. I paid 500 new for it
I got mines for $360 new.
Isn't so old? Huh? The 5D is almost three years old and will probably be replaced any day now.
The D300 and D3 are six months old and are state of the art.
It doesn't make sense to switch to Canon if you already have Nikon gear. You won't get any benefit.
My only wish this Christmas is that you come out with a FF camera that's priced around $3000.
It makes sense if the gear he does have is kit trash and not worth anything anyways. It wouldnt really matter selling it and moving to Canon.
I did, and couldn't be happier!
Rumor is there will be a 5D Mark II competitor this year from Nikon at around $3000. Speculated to be named the D10.
nga if you're lying, im going to ask my personal fazal for your IP address, and i'll hunt you down and steal whatever camera equipment you have.
http://www.nikonwatch.com/?p=478 <-- The Sendai plant in Japan is where the pro bodies are built.
Come to the dark side.
If you get the 5D, you'll want to drop some coin on good glass. With shitty lenses, you'll get excessive vignetting.
nga, nikon's the dark side! that's why they worked on high iso.
