whichever one you like the looks of
I have two spikes tactical, good stuff
i cant really tell the difference if there even is one
Whatever logo you think is best. Most are made by the same 4 companies anyways...
Just ordered one, bullet fill ftw.
I have one of the punisher logos and i have one plain, its not worth the extra $ just for the bullet logos to me
I almost got the Punisher, but I was never into the series, wife wanted me to get it though. Maybe I'll get it on a rifle for her.
They're all pretty much the same, pick one that looks nice to you
wheres a good place to buy them then, i dont know any ffl's in austin
are megas any good?
http://www.ar15.com/ is a great site for AR-15 info.

Lower FAQ: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=12&t=318113
These four make most of the lowers:
LMT = LMT, Lauer(old), DS Arms, PWA, Eagle, Knights Armament, Barrett, Bushmaster (?)
CMT = Stag, RRA, High Standard, Noveske (old), Century (current), Global Tactical, CLE, S&W, MGI (1st batch), Wilson Tactical, (some?) Colt, Ratworx
LAR = Grizzly, Bushmaster (L Prefix), Ameetech, (?)DPMS, CMMG, Double Star, Fulton, Spike's Tactical, Noveske (new)
MMS = Mega, Gunsmoke, Dalphon, POF (forged), Alexander Arms, Stinger, Spike's Tactical(old)
I'm not either, my nickname from HS football was the punisher for $5 it was worth the inside joke
Oh, well, if you got a reason.
That's what it boiled down to for me when I was at a funshow buying parts for my AR build. RRA was $150, Stag and DPMS were $120. Decided that it wasn't worth $30 for a RRA lower to match the upper and I preferred the DPMS panther over Stag's buck. The finish on the RRA lowers was also somewhat lacking.
so mega? yes ? no?
as everyone here has stated, they're all pretty much equivalent.
Is there a real advantage to getting a POF Billet lower other than looks?
I just ordered 2 Mega lowers should have them here by the end of the week.
There is a guy in round rock that is an a dealer on ar15.com. Go talk to him.
Got a stripped Stag lower today....now time for a lower parts kit. Are they all the same or is one better than the other, I don't really want a 2 stage trigger, just a basic kit to start with.
I like the Rock River Arms lpks.
there's no real difference unless you want a milled one. Just buy whatever logo you like. None of them are less quality from the other
