there is none
might as well just pin your gun to your chest.
Perhaps for security or body guards?
so people know you are carrying and they should sucker-punch you in the back rather than confront you face-to-face and risk being shot.
They had those at the gun show a few weeks ago and they would custom engrave your CCW number in them and everything. They had these flyers and the sales pitch on them was something like this.....
"A badge is a symbol of authority, if you were walking on one side of the street and someone else was walking on the other side the street, the only difference between you and the other person is that you have a badge and the other person does not. Now if you were a criminal, which person would you want to mug?"
It also said something about it lets police and whatnot quickly identify you as someone legally carrying a gun no questions asked or something along those.
Let the cops know you need a good asskickin?
only thing I can think of is the sheeple's automatic association of a badge and gun equaling law enforcement, and thus, be nonplussed about the open presence of a firearm.
Wearing that badge would be like open carrying in a non-open carry state.
It's just a way get mall ninjas to fork over more money. $25 in this case.
It's really only good for maybe sticking on your firearms locker at home as a joke.
You gotta remember guys that the CCW is a badge to some people. It's there only so they can say they have it. You know the type I'm talking about, spends an extra grand or two on accessories for an AR that never gets shot.
It's for when you're waiting in line at Wally World for your Nacho's. You can show your badge and make everyone get out of your way so you can order first.
my fiancee's dad wears one when he goes to the car wash, sometimes with one of those POLICE shirts.
as sad as it is, your fiance's dad is a mall ninja and possibly could be considered a douche-nozzle for doing that.
I'm sure he's a good guy, I guess, but is he either overweight..or else he's regular weight but has a mustache and a really freaky intense way of looking at people? Eyes slightly too wide?
seriously though, ever ask him why he doesn't just become a real LEO?
He obviously wants to carry the mantle of an LEO pretty badly
i ran into a guy with one of those before. i told him he should take it out.
