Verified in person it actually is rust free... I find it truly hard to believe myselfSure.

- lowered? really? occasionally use it as a truck right? for what? Styrofoam?
- Thank god it has seats.
- And tires holy shit my balls
- An indescribable head unit from walmart? Count me in.
- It better
- Really. How bad was it before
So... Someone else who isn't me said $20k... I don't understand why you kept quoting ME with the $20k price??$20,000 for a 24 year old truck with 175k miles?Dude that’s like an $8,000 truck at best although in today’s crazy market it prob would go for more.
But $20k? Fuck no.
$6500Hypothetical, but based somewhat in reality...
1998 Silverado 2WD black short bed regular cab that looks like the attached pic roughly. Nice shape, rush free body and frame, fair paint - 175k chassis miles
Has the following done to it:
- 6.0 LS swap with a mild cam and supporting mods ~380whp or so - everything in the stock cluster works
- 4L60e transmission with lower miles
- 4.10 rear gears with posi g80/10 bolt
- 2/4in drop with new shocks
- Black leather bucket seats (power)
- New tires (stock-ish wheels) and brakes
- Carplay/Android Audio headunit
- AC/heat work
- Spray in bedline and soft tonneau cover
Bring a magnet?Verified in person it actually is rust free... I find it truly hard to believe myself
Bring a magnet?
Even then. 7k. Tops. Someone else's mods don't add value. It's still a slow 2wd pickup.
I've spent the last 6 months shopping for pickups. I'd say my pricing is pretty spot on.For the doors/fenders/hood yes. Didn't check the bed or roof (cuz well, roof), and the bed can be replaced easy enough if need be
Not sure if I agree on your pricing, but still - Appreciate the perspective
Not sure I agree with 380whp and 4.10s being "slow"I've spent the last 6 months shopping for pickups. I'd say my pricing is pretty spot on.
Well, in CAD at least.
I'm a 90s kid - and Syclones/Typhoons are easy $25k+++ in nicer shapeGet a typhoon or cyclone instead. Even a trailblazer SS would be nicer...
I see some that need some tlc in the mid teens come up. But that is why I through the Trailblazer SS on the list. In awd form it was very underestimated and they aren't expensive now.I'm a 90s kid - and Syclones/Typhoons are easy $25k+++ in nicer shape
Plan to track it a lot?Not sure I agree with 380whp and 4.10s being "slow"
Not fast or "just quick" perhaps - but not slow.
