I've seen a few on FM for ~$1000, just wasn't sure if that was a competitive price or not.
I haven't found any for under $1050 yet and I've been looking as well.
You're probably lookin at the same one as me.
I'm not in a rush, I've got my Rebel XT for now and I'm waiting for my tax return anyway.
That is a terrible price when they are $1,078-$1149 new, shipped.
Yeah I'm not sure I can justify spending $100 less for a used camera.
The one I found was on Craigslist and it was nearly brand new. The seller wanted $1050 firm.
If you're going to pay over $900 used just buy new.
I've seen them for $950-975 on POTN.
unless you can find a great deal (which i think i did), i don't think the 40D has been out long enough to really go down in the used market.
i'd just buy new.
I thought you might chime in. Out of curiosity, and if you're willing to share, what did you find yours for used?
I'm not hung up on new/used, I'm just trying to maximize my catch monies.
you can read the whole saga here.
40D, 17-85 IS lens, and bg-e2 grip for a whopping $1400.
i really liked the XTi i had, but this is so much nicer.
bought mine new at 1020 shippied from dell body only.
well crap, if I could find that deal I'd do it for sure.
Got mine from Dell for about the same.
Who is this "Dell" you speak of and how does one contact them??
Is there a farmer in the Dell?
When did Dell start selling Canon cameras?? I am not good with keeping up with you young people and all your wild and crazy trends.
I'm about to pull a trigger on a 40D and 580 EX
How do you get the discount on Dell?
Seriously, that's what I want to know.
They sell all sorts of things. Apple used to sell (canon) cameras too believe it or not.
They still do, $1500 for the outfit 40D.
