i did it in 8 and it was all i had.my friend did it in 6.58.whats considerd fast?
Run a mile? Fuck, I don't even wanna walk a mile!
In all seriousness, anything under 6 is pretty darn good. Not worthy of competition but darn good.
3:46.91 Is the new American record, so you go can up from there.
thats about 57 seconds per lap.
Agreed. Try getting on a treadmill and setting it at anything over 10 mph and see if you can last a mile.
a good time is faster than you last ran it
realistically anything under 4 minutes is pretty good though.
I would say for most people just under 6 minutes is a pretty decent goal to start with if running a good mile time is your thing
anything under 4 minutes is absurd.
i'm 270 pounds so anything under 8 minutes sounds pretty good to me
right, it does get harder as we gain weight
Just pretty good?
Try you're going to the Olympics.
LOL, my all time best mile time is like 11 minutes.
7 minutes or quicker is pretty respectable IMO.
im dying for air for anything under 8 mins...on a treadmill
i probably wouldn't even make a mile on a track
EDIT: I had the times wrong for his laps, here is the video of the actual race.
maybe next year, right now my best time is about 15 minutes, once my creatine cycle is over, I'm sure I'll be down to 4
yeah bloats a bitch.
wtf? 8 minutes felt like warp speed to me, i almost shit my pants when i was done.I'm 6' 255lbs and i think its a safe bet to say that my fat fuckin ass will never, ever, ever see 7 fuckin minutes!
real life and treadmill are different. I can run a mile in 8 minutes no problem, but I have a hard time on the treadmill going 6mph for a mile
my best was 6:50 back in freshman highschool but now i cant even jog a mile straight
under 6 minutes is fantastic, under 5 is spectacular, under 4 is not achievable unless you are a professional athelete
