All i need is to cut some shit out of a video file and seperate one segment of it.
Avisynth will do the trick and it's free! For some reason, their old site seems to be down...
Windows Movie Maker which comes with XP.
Avid has a free verison called FreeDV http://www.avid.com/freedv/
Zwei-Stein Video Editor http://www.snapfiles.com/get/zweistein.html
I list this sololy because I found it at Snapfiles.com, but it says you can work with up to 256 video, audio and still image clips at a time. The interface looks old as hell though, looks like something Win95 puked up.
ok i got the avid one. now how the fuck do i use this shit

I edited it using windows movie maker 2. now how do i save it as a video clip? The shit i got is only 7.5 kb , and i know the video file is way larger than that. The new video file is just a cutout of some of the original video file's
