MIL What's in Idaho ??

    Some Marines are going to Cherry point, some to Beaufort, and some to Idaho. I'm not sure why they picked these three options. Just wondering what's at these locations....

    EDIT: This is for our Reserve Annual Training of 2 weeks, in the summer.

    The only military base in Idaho is Mountain Home AFB.

    Company C, 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division based at Boise's Gowen Field. It's a USMCR base.

    probly a bunch of dames that dont get to see too many marines if they get to go in town :dunno:

    try again. Idaho is home to the biggest National Guard Tank Training areas in the US

    one could argue the semantics that a tank training area technically isn't a base though...

    I have a feeling that there is more than enough in the areas that they could easily be considered a base though.
