what kind of physical requirments and also how do you even get started?

Seriously, when we go to the chow hall these guys walk in and you hear CLANK CLANK CLANK. They don't even have to call cadence.

B. Get friend that can swim.
C. Jump in deep end of pool.
D. Push off with feet to break surface of water.
E. Take breath.
F. Sink to bottom.
G. Repeat steps D-F until failure to break surface of water.
H. Have friend save you and perform CPR as necessary.
Combat controller, as in TACP?
no there is another career called Combat Control. In a nutshell they are ATC on ground with a weapon on front lines or beyond them.

TACP are Air Force guys that do close air support for the Army. Combat Controllers do close air support, air traffic control, and control airborne/dropzone operations for SOCOM.
Ah. Interesting. I know the TACP field intimately, but I hadn't heard of the other.
