in absence of waiting for GT5 etc
nothing can replace that hole
just play another genre
probably shift right now... until the fucking release of GT5
in for GT5 launch title for PS420
NFS:Shift is great, right up until you realize it's a NFS game and the AI rubberbands past you on a 40 mph corner at 100+ mph.
i think you got the games backwards
grid ai fucking just rams into you, and at top tier racing with the prototypes, that shit doesn't fly
you wreck and DNF, while they seem to be built out of dark matter
This happens when you reach Tier 3. Also the handling goes to shit and cars start doing ridiculous crap.
we talking grid or shift?
either way, both games are shit at top tier
i have a maxxed out murc in shift and my settings fucked up the game physics. i can bulldoze/lift cars out of my way
and grid was a good game till prototype racing. then the physics also couldn't adjust properly
Odd, I never had many issues with the AI ramming me in Grid. NFS:S just put me into a fucking rage.
Actually, wrong console but Race Pro was damn fun on the 360.
I was doing the VS races and I was appalled at the fact that the AI could easily send me spinning out with just a tap while they seemed to be glued to the track when I tried doing the same.
I gave up on it and based on the horror stories from the NFS World Live Tour, I decided to get rid of it.
Gran Turismo 5 is the only racing game that matters to me.
try bumping up the difficulty
