My logitech G430's just broke, the plastic cracked on one side that holes the ear piece.

I use them for work meetings, so need something with good sound proofing and a good mic.

Any recommendations?

Use sony wh-1000xm4. Great sound proofing. Hit and miss for work calls. Acts up on MS Teams but decent with WebEx.

Just bought the jabra evolve 2 85. Had them about a week and really like them. Had tried the plantronics voyager 8200s and they were ok but felt really heavy.

If Apple is out, I suggest getting a separate good stick mic that way you can focus on getting the best cans you can get without worrying about the mic requirement.

I use a buddy mic, it’s specifically made for dictations so the voice sounds great

I bet you look very professional wearing those on a conference call

can someone explain to me why an UC certified headset with USB dongle, such as the jabra evolve2 85, is recommended for Teams/Zoom/etc...vs just a regular bluetooth headphones like the airpods?
