Just on average...give me an idea so I know what I'm looking at.
based on how many cals total diet? and how many meals?
I eat 6 times a day. I don't really know how many calories I'm supposed to be eating, I just want to lose weight. I've lost some so far just by eatin healthy, but I haven't really been counting calories.
calories for the day should be around 10-12x bodyweight
700x6 meals a day ftw
Been eating more or less than you thought was right?
figure out your maintence calories, cut 500 off of that, and divide that into equal numbers for how many times a day you eat. look at stickies/archives/search to find out how to figure maintenence. i personally eat bigger meals early in the day, but i'm not sure if that's necessary or not...i'm just more hungry in the am
This is what I eat Mon - Fri.
8:00 Nutrigrain bar
10:00 Bag of gold fish
12:00 sushi or subway or sub from Publix
2 or 3:00 Banana
7-7:30 Dinner, usually chicken cutlets or steak w/ veggies
Ummmmmmm chicken cutlets.
Yeah, the thin sliced chicken breasts.
I count two meals and four snacks
Well, the nutrigrain bar is my breakfast. I don't have time on weekdays to make anything. On the weekends I make myself oatmeal and/or eggs.
Excuses, I used to say the same thing. Just give yourself an extra 30 minutes in the morning to make a proper breakfast.
Oats + milk + protein + blender = breakfast in 2minutes
I already wake up at 6:40am. I can't get up any earlier...I really can't.
Ummmmmmm chicken cutlets= homer drooling over chicken Cutlets.
ummmmmmmmmmm chi - ken cut- lettsss
They are definitely yummy.
calories? how many?http://www.thebullmagazine.com/magmain.php?issueID=18&pageID=167
Are you trying to lose or gain weight? That's not a lot of food.
Lose. I have already gone down one clothing size in one month. And a cup size too.
then youre doing great!
I found this handy dandy spreadsheet to help calculate whatever you're doing... it also incorporates BF%. Download it and open it in Excel.
I would start with 10x your bodyweight for calories; yeah, it might sound like a lot but really, it's ok to eat, especially if you're working out
From the looks of it you need more protein. Yes, even if you're running for your main form of exercise. I try for 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Lose the nutrigrain bar for breakfast; try a myoplex light bar or a south beach diet snack bar if you feel the need to have something fast that you can eat in the car (which I can totally understand).
Protein and carbs at each meal Don't feel pressured to have six mini-meals unless that works for you. I usually end up with 4-5 meals/snacks a day.
