I usually can do 225 for 8-10 with good form. Have upped it recently to 245 with decent form..
Recently started doing good form, probably 145x5.
What are #'s for your other lifts?
I have a hard time doing 10 on my last set with 225.
405 squat for reps, 335 bench, 445 deadlift (feet close together, almost a SLDL)..
Hm maybe my lats just suck. I've never really gone higher than 225, I might go back to doing heavy sets of 5.
I did Bent-Overs for a while and got pissed that my weights never went up.. I quit them for about 4 months and in those months focused a lot on getting my deadlift up... went straight from strugging with 155 for some reps to repping out 225...
Yeah but I just pulled 535 pretty easy so I don't think thats the problem.
Do them on the smith for a while and then come back to freeweight..
335 bench and 455 dl?
have your barbell bench & bent-over rows #'s progressed at similar pace?
Shitty, but I BOR the same as I bench, which is meant to be good I think
im a sad pussy right now and last night I did 225 for 15, when im big and training i work up to 315 for 10, I have done 405 for 5 but it was more damaging then good, leave that to the pros
185x10 will go up to 225x10 if my lower back is feeling ok.....
i think what the fuck = holy shit that's a lot of weight my friend
I was doin 180x10 without much trouble last back day. I could have gone to 200 easily. That's quite a bit more than what I normally do, no idea why the weight i can move suddenly went up. This is all with good form, of course.
225? thats light as hell
cause you're a huge monster freakazoin
moreso the 315 and 405
