Honestly can't remember. It doesn't rain here much, but I don't remember having any issues last winter.

I'm basic, use my reliably warm wool peacoat for most days and my +20yo. Columbia for the real shit.

Long underwear 2 t-shirts a sweater. And a cheap plaid jacket. For the -40 if I want to walk outside. I through on another oversized jacket I got from walmart. So I just layer up.

As is the customary uniform for autists I have an arcteryx jacket for every 5 degrees of potential weather.

Living in the bay however, I rarely go below an Alpha LT. Even a gortex jacket is too hot most of the time.

I've had this for 2 years. Doesn't get cold in SC, minimum high 20's occasionally. This jacket has been great, especially considering it costs $55.
