Have you just looked for consoles on Wayfair to get an idea of what you might want? Then just jump off there and do Arhaus, RH, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, CB2, Allmodern. Do an image search for media console then with a modifier like black or walnut and see if other manufacturers pop up that you like.

if you wanna spend look for something from Salamander Designs or BDI

best buy carries both, if they have a magnolia section at yours you can see them in person
