CAR Which heavy cutting compound should I use?

I have 2 black cars to clean (04 Pontiac GTO, 05 Honda Civic) and they both have a significant amount of swirls, the Honda has quite a few minor scratches as well.

I was looking into M105 but heard it dusts really bad in the sun. Does Optimum Hyper Polish have the same cutting power?

Any other products I should be considering? How about a pad? Right now I have a Tropi-care orange cutting pad. Is there something else I should consider?

Any other product recommendations for following up on the car?

I used some 3M Perfect-It II today because that was all I had and I was anxious to start working on the car. Here are a few pics.

i am a mobile detailer and i really think you can beat the 205 and 105 combo even in the sun, i love that combination.

The GTO paint isn't particularly hard.

Honestly, you should have more than 1 good compound since not all paint responds the same. I'd get both #105 and Optimum Hyper Compound, and probably the new Meguiars MF polishing system with the MF cutting discs and D300.
