ADCC. I'm a grappler and that is my sport. MMA is cool but I feel that winning ADCC is something incredibly prestigious
UFC for the fame
Pride FC, I respect UFC a lot but Pride FC is the largest MMA organization in the world and even though they throw in a lot of Japanese fighters, they still have a lot of great fighters that come from all over the world.
PRIDE belt...i'd rather be known on a worldwide scale than just in US
ding ding, plus with better competition on some of the divisions, you really get to test your skills
Pride belt for exactly that reason. MMA is my sport, and imo pride is the pinnacle of the sport, especially in the division I would be competing in.
UFC belt since I live in the US. Having the Pride belt here wouldn't really garner me that much admiration or recognition. Welterweight division ftw.
Pride has the best competition in my weight class I believe...I would truly be the best if I was Pride LHW champ... imho ofcourse
I would take beating Fedor legitametly in a long match over any belt though.
you forgot Shooto tho.
Shooto is the oldest and in my mind the most respected MMA org ever.
Pride belt. It is, in my view, the top of the heap. It also pays the best, and the endorsement deals for a foreigner in Japan are more lucrative (Bob Sapp, Vanderlei Silva, Fedor, etc.). I'd also enjoy the relative anonymity back in the US, as only learned MMA fans would recognize me.
yeah if i could win any mma belt it would be shooto
werd, pride ftw
no ZST no care
Pride if you want to know your the best, UFC if you want the average fan to think your the best.
Yeah, that would be the case if there was only one or two weight divisions.
WW is the only class UFC is hands down the toughest in.
You pretty much listed everything I thought about, when I voted Pride. But from what I understand, Chuck is makeing very, very good money, between being the UFC Champ, and all the sponsors.
Shogun Rua took home a 250,000 dollar check for winning the middleweight GP. Imagine what a marketable name like Silva or Fedor makes in a title fight purse, then factor in the endorsements for Japanese products. Hell, even Mark Coleman is doing commercials for razors over there. I'd guess it's more than Chuck takes home. I do hope that someday UFC fighters will get paid what they're worth.
