I was aiming for a denon that'd upscale 480p to 1080p for my retro consoles. Didn't do my research well enough and figured some really cheap new old stock would be my ticket.

I needed to have found an AVR1911 if I wanted the upscaler

works great in the 3 years I've had. TV isn't 4K and probably not making that jump anytime soon
